our little monkey is sick...;(

it's been a few days of crazy high fevers...so after a horrible morning and a 103.4 fever we decided to go to the doctor. of course by the time we got into the room the tylenol had done it's thing...her fever was low-grade...and she was in good spirits. we love looking like the crazy, over-protective parents ;) so...they sent us on our way and said if her fever spikes again to take her to emerg at children's. 2 hours later we were back up to 103...and went to visit the doc at children's. he believes she has roseola - 3 to 5 days of high fevers followed by a rash. she will hopefully be as good as new by the end of the weekend. despite not feeling well jay was still able to get a smile ;) Oh yeah...we also got her 7 month weight...16 lbs 1 oz.

well...fun if your small enough to fit in an exersaucer! jay and i worked hard while tal was patient enough to play with her toys in the backyard. love this pic of our happy girl...

7 months old! yesterday...

ok...I'm slipping...and i'm sorry. Yesterday was tal's 7 month birthday...and i didn't post a thing! We had a very busy day...meetings and naps in the morning (guess who had which)...followed by a lovely lunch with Andrea and Simone. Simone is just over a year older than Talia...she's super cute...and lot's of fun. Not to mention all the cool clothes and toys that she has leant tal (we promise to take such good care of them - thank you so much!)

I'll update her height over the weekend. Weight-wise I feel like she's a little heavier...which I think may be because she now has formula 3X's a day. I'll try to update weight next week if I can make the drop in clinic.

Our little angel is so much fun. I can't believe she is 7 months already. Here is a video of our favorite time of day. Enjoy ;)

tired of being on the run...

it's been a busy week...so busy that jay came home to find his girls fast asleep... I wish that happened more often!

we have a lawn...can you believe it? rach...does this look like the same backyard you were working in last week? such an exciting day! the work isn't done yet...but we're going to enjoy every minute of this milestone.

father's day work-a-thon

what better way to celebrate father's day than yard work? jay would say perhpas a little poker? no such luck unfortunately...we were seriously under the gun to get the back yard prepped for sod. so we started the day off with a nice family breakfast...then we got to work!
